Hungry for Adventure
Many people seek more than relaxing on a trip. They want “soft” adventure (such as camping or hiking) or “hard” adventure (white-water rafting or off-road biking). Results from a survey of 1,200 U.S. adults by the Travel Industry Assn. of America:

Hard adventure: 16%
