Granatelli Plans to Open Latin American Division
J.T. Granatelli Lubricants in Camarillo has announced its intentions to establish a Latin American division, probably in Venezuela.
The firm is negotiating with Petroleum de Venezuela regarding the possibility of incorporating Granatelli’s oil-additive package with the Venezuelan company’s indigenous base oil.
“We are enthused about the possibilities with Petroleum de Venezuela and their affiliates in Latin America, and we are continuing to explore a long-term relationship of mutual benefit,” said Granatelli President D. Harry Hibler.
Petroleum de Venezuela, the largest petroleum/oil company in Latin America, had sales in fiscal 1996 exceeding $33 billion and profits for that same period of $4.49 billion.
J.T. Granatelli Lubricants manufactures and sells motor oil, general household and motor-vehicle lubricants and related products worldwide.
