Authorities were searching Saturday for a man who held up a Camarillo Jack-In-The-Box restaurant at gunpoint.
The robbery occurred about 8:30 p.m. Friday when a man described as thin, about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and wearing all black clothing and a cap walked into the restaurant on the 4900 block of Verdugo Way. He pointed a pistol at employees behind the counter and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash stuffed into a paper sack, sheriff’s officials said.
The gunman, who had a mustache and goatee, did not hurt anyone during the holdup, sheriff’s officials said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 654-2349.
