Youth Campaign Recruiting Volunteers
Orange County’s Promise, a countywide campaign to connect youths with opportunities to succeed, recently kicked off with a volunteer recruitment drive.
The campaign is part of President Clinton’s national effort to connect two million children to five fundamental resources: a caring adult, safe places and structured activities, a healthy start, education for marketable skills, and opportunities to serve.
The leaders of the local campaign include business owners, educators, government officials, nonprofit organizations and other volunteers.
