4 Volleyball Club Players Make Choices
Four players from the Orange County Volleyball Club have decided where they’ll attend college, club President Charlie Brande announced.
Laguna Beach High setter Kate Dwyer has signed to play at UCLA. She was the most valuable player of the Pacific Coast League.
Outside hitter Jordana Havriluk, an All-Southern Section selection for Division II-AA champion Corona del Mar, has signed with California.
Corre Myer, an All-Southern Section setter also from Corona del Mar, and defensive specialist Laura Wells from Newport Harbor will attend Brown.

Marina’s Katie Rorem has accepted a scholarship to compete in the pole vault for the Purdue women’s track team, according to Purdue Coach Ben Paolillo. Rorem leads Orange County this season with a jump of 12-1.

El Toro’s Ryan Kenyon signed a letter intent to play soccer at Southern Methodist, Charger Coach Ken Sjobom said.
The midfielder was the Southern Section Division I player of the year and had had eight goals and eight assists. He is the fourth county boys’ soccer player to commit to SMU this year.
Teammate Gonzalo Bonilla signed a letter of intent to play at Loyola Marymount. The midfielder was an All-Sea View League selection the last two years.
