When Bobby Rahal pulled into pit row after practice laps on the morning of his last race, members of all the crews lined the pavement. Many wore Groucho Marx-style glasses, mustache and noses in a spoof/tribute to the bespectacled, mustachioed look Rahal had for most of his career.

“Some of those people never looked better,” joked Rahal, who looks better himself these days now that he wears contact lenses.
