College’s Fall Fair Readied for Weekend

Orange Coast College will hold its 28th Annual Fall Fair on Saturday and Sunday. Last year, the event drew more than 2,000 people to the Costa Mesa campus.

The fair will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Fair headquarters are in the student center, with workshops scheduled around the campus.

Workshops will focus on topics including sewing, needlepoint, crafts, image consulting, embroidery, pattern alteration, quilting and fabrics.

More than 100 door prizes will be awarded.

Advance tickets are available through Friday at the college’s Community Education Office, next to the library. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday. The tickets cost $32 for both days or $19 for one. At the door, tickets will cost $45 and $25, respectively. Tickets may be bought by credit card by calling (714) 432-5880.
