Filming of Commercial to Reroute Freeway Traffic
All eastbound lanes of the Marina Freeway will be closed after 9 p.m. tonight while a public service announcement is filmed on the roadway, state transportation officials said.
Eastbound drivers on the Marina Freeway (90) will have to exit at Centinela Avenue and get back on at the nearby Centinela onramp, said Caltrans spokeswoman Margie Tiritilli.
The public service announcement will be made by Caltrans and the California Highway Patrol between 9 p.m. tonight and 6 a.m. Friday. The spot will highlight emergency call boxes which are equipped with technology that allows speech- and hearing-impaired commuters to communicate with the CHP, Tiritilli said.
