Officers Seek Help in Finding Fugitives

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in locating four fugitives wanted on suspicion of crimes ranging from selling drugs to violating probation.

Gary Wilson Scott, 40, was convicted earlier this year of criminal conspiracy and sales of a controlled substance, and placed on probation. He has violated probation and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Scott’s last known address was 95 Bard Lane, Ventura, and he last worked as a self-employed mechanic. He is white, 5 feet 8, 165 pounds and has hazel eyes and brown hair.

He has “SS” tattooed on his left hand and “Peckerwood” is on his arm.

Ava Patrice Greene, 40, was convicted of selling a controlled substance and sentenced to state prison. She was expected to surrender at County Jail but failed to do so. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.

Greene last lived at 115 El Medio, Ventura. She is black, 5 feet, 140 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes and a scar on her stomach.

Israel Garcia Aguilar, also known as Israel Garcia, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and failure to appear in court. He was released from jail on bail and failed to show up for court.

Aguilar last lived at 217 El Medio, Ventura and last worked at Jiffy Lube in Ventura. He is Latino, 5 feet 6, 165 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

Frank Raymond Pelaya, 30, also known as Pelaya Ramos, was arrested on suspicion of evading police, driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. He was earlier convicted of brandishing a weapon, resisting arrest, drunk driving and battery. He has violated the terms of his probation, and a total of five warrants have been issued.

Pelaya is Latino, 6 feet 1, 220 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
