A debate Tuesday between syndicated columnists Arianna Huffington and Robert Scheer will focus on the challenges facing the region, but the well-known commentators may hit other targets. Chapman University has arranged the debate as part of its freshman seminar, a course the school uses to sharpen the critical thinking skills of students.
