Spotlight: Infomercial Maker to Move Offices to Encino

National Media Corp., a maker of TV infomercials, said it will move its headquarters to the San Fernando Valley from Philadelphia as it cuts costs and expands into online media and electronic commerce. National Media will consolidate its offices in Encino, site of its Quantum Television creative and marketing unit. Half of the Philadelphia office’s 50 employees will be fired and the rest will move to the new headquarters, the company said.
