Littlerock 32, Quartz Hill 10--Keith Williams scored three touchdowns to help the Lobos to their first league title in the school’s eight-year history.

Williams scored on runs of three and 32 yards, but his critical touchdown came on a 73-yard kickoff return late in the first quarter. Kyle Gookins of Quartz Hill (2-8, 0-5) had just tied the game with a 31-yard field goal.

Williams rushed for 96 yards in 12 carries. Teammate Rodney Woods rushed for 145 yards in 11 carries.

It was the 15th consecutive league loss for the Rebels, who have not won against a Golden League opponent since 1995. It might have been the last game for the only coach that Quartz Hill has had. John Albee, though, declined to comment on his status after the game.

Clifton Herbert gained 136 yards in 15 carries, including a 70-yard touchdown run, for Quartz Hill.
