* FRESNO STATE (2-0) at PEPPERDINE (2-0), 5 p.m., Fox Sports West 2--The Waves have four Division I transfers in the starting lineup, but they have been sparked by senior Marc McDowell, a junior college transfer who has been with the Waves for three seasons. McDowell has 31 points so far as Pepperdine’s sixth man. The Bulldogs, who had two underclassmen drafted by the NBA in June, have relied on the scoring of Courtney Alexander (26 points a game) and Melvin Ely (24 points) in their two victories.
