Cerritos Valley Christian 20, Oak Park 13--The Eagles scored the final 10 points but fell short at Valley Christian.

Nate Elder connected with Zach Schwartz on a 71-yard scoring pass play to cut the Oak Park deficit to 20-10 early in the fourth quarter.

Mike Rothlein recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff, and four plays later Jesse Nicassio kicked his second field goal--a 32-yarder--to trim the deficit to 20-13 with 6:55 remaining.

Oak Park had a final chance to tie, driving to its 49 before turning the ball over on downs with less than a minute remaining.

Elder completed seven of 19 passes for 141 yards.

Tim Vanderhook completed 15 of 25 passes for 184 yards and one touchdown, and scored on runs of 44 and six yards for Valley Christian (8-3).
