Mark Barabak (The Washington Connection, Nov. 24) indicated that to win, the GOP needs to be more “moderate.” Wrong. To win, the GOP and Democrats, also, need to be liberal on civil liberties and conservative on economics. Polls show this. Jesse Ventura’s Minnesota win illustrates this. This position is known as libertarian.
