FOUNTAIN VALLEY
The local branch of the county library is sponsoring an “Operation Santa Claus” tree that lists gifts wanted for needy people in the community. Each “Angel Tag” hanging from the tree will give the name and age of a needy person and some gift suggestions. Gifts brought to the library, 17635 Los Alamos St., will be distributed to children and senior citizens by the county Social Services Agency. The deadline is Dec. 22. Information: (714) 962-1324.
