Messy Yards to Get City Cleanup Notices

Simi Valley residents whose properties are overgrown with weeds or littered with debris will soon be receiving cleanup notices from the city.
The Department of Community Services will send the notices to residents whose properties have become a public eyesore. They will be asked to comply with the request by Oct. 30 to prevent the properties from becoming a nuisance and potential hazards.
