Santa Maria St. Joseph 33, Santa Clara 11--Santa Clara senior Kevin Gormley completed 11 of 28 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown, but the Saints were plagued by penalties at Santa Maria.
Gormley threw an eight-yard touchdown pass to Danny Chapparro late in the fourth quarter. Gormley ran for the two-point conversion.
Jose Resendiz rushed for 92 yards in 11 carries for Santa Clara.
