No. 8 Brea Olinda (2-0) vs. Sunny Hills (1-1)

7 TONIGHT BUENA PARK HIGH
Sunny Hills gave up 14 points in each of its first two games. Not bad, but the Lancers’ record doesn’t reflect it. That’s because they turned the ball over three times in last week’s 14-7 loss to El Modena. Brea Olinda appears talented enough to make a run at another Orange League title and perhaps beyond. The Wildcats have scored 89 points. Travis Blood is a tested quarterback, Scott Lieng a proven runner and Deonta Birdsong anchors a defense that has yielded only 13 points. Sunny Hills is expected to grind it out on the ground using as many as six running backs.
