* Sunbeam Corp. said it will have until next year to repay $1.7 billion in credit due as of last week, giving the maker of small appliances continued access to cash it needs. The one-year extension should become final in the next few days, said Sunbeam, whose brands include Mixmaster, Oster, Sunbeam and Mr. Coffee. The extra year will give the Boca Raton, Fla.-based company continued access to $400 million in revolving credit needed to implement its growth strategy, the company said. Company spokeswoman Maureen Bailey declined to elaborate on those plans.
