Final arguments for and against building a new City Hall were submitted to the city clerk Thursday and will be forwarded to the county registrar of voters to be placed on the March ballot for an advisory vote.
Mayor Sherri M. Butterfield and Councilwoman Susan Withrow have submitted a rebuttal to the argument against building a City Hall, saying that the project is the right size, the right location and the right cost.
Residents Brad Morton, Larry Gilbert, Kyle Crenshaw and Councilman John Paul Ledesma have filed a rebuttal to the argument in favor of building a City Hall, contending that the council majority is attempting to deceive the voters to get a City Hall built.
