Ice Dogs’ Legace Gets Shutout

Claude Jutras and Dan Bylsma scored goals as the Long Beach Ice Dogs defeated the Las Vegas Thunder, 2-0, Sunday in an International Hockey League game at Las Vegas.
Jutras scored on the power play in the first period off assists from Dan Lambert and Mark Ferner. Nathan Lafayette assisted on Bylsma’s goal at 2:42 of the third period.
Manny Legace stopped 22 shots for his first shutout.
The Ice Dogs (36-21-3) are in second place in the Western Conference’s Southwest Division.
