2 Air Force Sergeants Accused of Having Sex With Students

SAN ANTONIO — Two sergeants have been charged with having sex with four female students at Brooks Air Force Base, with one accused of giving advance copies of tests to two women.
Master Sgt. Mark Gibson and Tech. Sgt. Apolinar Bernal are accused of “unprofessional relationships” with a total of seven women, all recent basic training graduates from Lackland Air Force Base, Brooks spokeswoman Maj. Erin Campbell said Wednesday.
Gibson faces up to 21 years in prison if convicted, and Bernal could get up to 17 years in prison.
