Western Digital Settles Patent Lawsuit
Irvine-based Western Digital Corp. said Monday it has agreed to pay a licensing fee to a California technology company, Magnetic Media Development, to settle a civil lawsuit.

Western Digital officials declined to detail the settlement but said it would not have a material impact on the company’s bottom line.
