The Brea Mall--the single largest source of tax revenue to the city’s coffers--is expected to rake in millions more this holiday season than it did last year, officials said. Darren Thomas, director of mall marketing, said that with the amount of money already taken in, the mall will earn about $20 million more than its 1998 estimated income of $500 million. The mall is ranked third in the number of sales per square foot in the county.
