Gilbert Elementary School is starting again. Teachers Philip Yates and Kathryn Sampilo will assist students for an hour and a half once a week beginning today. Yates, a fourth-grade teacher, said the club began several years ago and has spawned other after-school workshops that help struggling students better their grades. Yates said the workshops offer a good opportunity for students to get extra attention from teachers.
