I wanted to compliment you on James Ricci’s Sept. 25 article on offensive linemen. Not only is it a great representation of an underappreciated position, it vividly brought back many of the memories of camaraderie and hard work blocking for the current USC quarterback coach, Ken O’Brien.
Kenny got a bad rap for sacks early in his pro career with the Jets. I used to tell everyone he just never had to avoid a rush in college.
