The Rossmoor Library will display the works of local artist Christine Hogan this month and next in the gallery section.
Hogan is primarily self-taught. After attending Long Beach City College and Cornell University she opened her own studio, where she conducts workshops. Many of Hogan’s works in china painting, porcelain, lace draping, doll painting, oils and watercolors have won awards in Southern California.
The library is at 12700 Montecito Ave. and St. Cloud in the Rossmoor Shopping Center. Hours are Monday and Tuesday, 12 to 9 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed Thursdays and Sundays.
