Man Is Fatally Shot Outside Bar
A 36-year-old man was shot and killed during an apparent argument outside a Pacoima bar, police said Sunday.
Jose Armando Soto Vicente, of Pacoima, was found shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday outside the Silver Dollar bar in the 10200 block of San Fernando Road, Los Angeles Police Det. Frank Bishop said.
Soto Vicente and another man were seen arguing inside the bar, then continued the altercation outside, police said.
Authorities said the other man retrieved a handgun from his car and shot Soto Vicente, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police described the shooting suspect as a Latino man, about 5 feet 4 and 170 pounds, with a beard and short black hair.
He was wearing a gray suit, Bishop said.
