Questioning ‘Brownout’
Minority media advocates involved in the so-called “brownout” against the ivory towers of the big TV networks should stop throwing stones (Morning Report, Sept. 21). These activists live in glass towers and I took a peek inside.
After watching a week’s worth of Galavision, Univision and Telemundo, I did not see a single non-Hispanic white or black face in a leading role on any program produced by those outlets. What’s good for the goose should be good for the gander I say.
