TUSTIN
Pioneer Middle School sixth-grader Alison Noll was named a winner in the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution 2000 American history essay contest.
Alison’s essay, based on the topic “An Obituary for George Washington,” won first place in the sixth-grade division. Alison will attend the awards ceremony April 19 in Washington, D.C., and will receive an American history essay pin, certificate and $300 cash award.
