Year-Round Schools

Regarding North Hollywood High School: Thank you for the strong support to preserve the school (editorial, April 6). But what is wrong with year-round schools? They make great sense for using existing facilities in the most efficient way. Year-rounds disperse vacationing throughout the year, reducing vacation crowds and spreading vacation expenses through the year. They also would spread the vacation jobs throughout the year.
