THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG
The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:
BREA
* East Lambert Road: A grand theft was reported in the 1700 block at 9:09 a.m. Monday.
* North Tamarack Avenue: A man was caught driving an allegedly stolen vehicle in the 600 block at 3:49 p.m. Monday.
* South Viking Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 100 block at 2:49 p.m. Monday.
FULLERTON
* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: Two juveniles were arrested on suspicion of petty theft in the 3200 block at 5:09 p.m. Monday.
* North Gilbert Street: A man was reported to be walking around with a bag of candy bars, riding a bicycle and stalking children in an apartment complex in the 1400 block at 7:49 p.m. Monday.
GARDEN GROVE
* Johanna Avenue: A report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 10100 block at 11:07 p.m. on Thursday. Police found two men, one shot in the back and another beaten with a baseball bat.
LAGUNA BEACH
* Cajon Street: A $300 statue was reported stolen in the 200 block at 2:59 p.m. Monday.
* Aster Street: A 38-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 400 block at 8:20 p.m. Saturday.
LA HABRA
* East La Habra Boulevard: A petty theft from a residence was reported in the 2000 block at 2:41 a.m. Tuesday.
* East Imperial Highway: A person was reported to be dumping oil in the 400 block at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
* South Walnut Street: Police responded to shots fired from a residence in the 500 block at 7:43 p.m. Monday.
LOS ALAMITOS
* Howard Avenue: A report of vandalism in the 3700 block at 11:04 a.m. Thursday.
* Bloomfield Street: A report of vandalism in the 3900 block at 12:53 p.m. Thursday.
PLACENTIA
* West Orangethorpe Avenue: Oranges and bottles were reported being thrown from behind a wall at moving vehicles at 8:03 p.m. Monday.
* Pageantry Drive at North Kraemer Boulevard: Smoke was reported coming from a residence. It was found to be a backyard barbecue at 4:40 p.m. Monday.
* Primrose Avenue at Twilight Street: Two females were reported fighting at street corner at 8:49 p.m. Monday.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
* Alipaz Street: A 24-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of possessing a methamphetamine pipe in the 32000 block at 9:20 p.m. Saturday.
* Avenida Pedregal: The fraudulent use of stolen credit cards was reported in the 25000 block at 12:20 p.m. Saturday.
SANTA ANA
* Civic Center Drive: A petty theft was reported in the 700 block at 9:37 a.m. Tuesday.
* Barrett Hill Circle: A reckless driver was reported in the 19400 block at 4:44 p.m. Monday.
* Flower Street: A narcotics violation was reported in the 500 block at 5:12 p.m. Monday.
YORBA LINDA
* Eastpark Drive: A burglary was reported in the 23000 block at 9:02 a.m. Monday.
* Flower Gate Lane: Malicious mischief was reported in the 20300 block at 12:48 p.m. Monday.
Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Palma, Newport Beach, Orange, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
