Santiago Canyon Off to Good Start
Santiago Canyon, playing its first men’s soccer game, defeated San Bernardino Valley College, 4-1, in a nonconference game Tuesday.
Andy Pizano had two first-half goals and Danny Crosley and Beau Lawson closed the second half with a goal each. Nick Adams had four saves for Santiago Canyon.
In other nonconference games:
Orange Coast 1, Cerritos 1--Geno Vitale-Sansosti’s goal in the 28th minute earned the tie for Orange Coast in the teams’ opener. Freshman Aaron Siemers assisted on the goal and Hilario Ariago had two saves for Orange Coast.
