Mountain View St. Francis (24-0) vs. La Habra (23-2)
5 TONIGHT CYPRESS COLLEGE
St. Francis, winner of four state titles, is appearing in a state-record eighth final and its seventh in the last eight seasons. The Lancers are top-ranked in the state Division II poll and third overall. St. Francis hasn’t lost a best-of-five match this season. Only Assumption (Ky.) has beaten the Lancers, but that was in a best-of-three match in the Nike tournament in Chicago. The Lancers are deep and talented, led by Kelly Corbett, who will go to Notre Dame. La Habra, led by USC signee Keao Burdine, is playing in its first state final since 1991.
