* Let me get this straight.
Our county supervisors, who OKd the mental health merger, want to make the elected auditor-controller position into an appointed position in response to a $7-million miscalculation.
Yet they want to appoint one of the people responsible for this $7-million mistake to that same position.
What am I missing here?
