United Airlines has introduced booking and ticketing that can be used with any Wireless Application Protocol-enabled telephone. To the tech-challenged, that’s a cell phone with Internet access.
A free service, United Wireless can be accessed from Web-enabled cell phones at https://www.ua2go.com. It lets travelers who are registered with https://www.united.com buy an e-ticket for any United Airlines, United Shuttle or United Express flight originating in the United States. Customers can also check flight status and availability, and keep track of frequent-flier miles.
