Watch What You Say About Hot Rods

You’ve done a great disservice to an important element of America’s car culture (“A Blast From the Past,” Nov. 28) by using the words “hot rod,” “souped up” and “muscular” in connection with the Chrysler PT Cruiser.
It is a cute underpowered tribute to the styling of the 1930s that will be “souped up” and become a “hot rod” only when a “muscular” power train can be installed.
