Forums to Plot City’s ‘Vision’

The Vision Planning Committee will meet at 5 p.m. today to discuss four town hall forums scheduled for January.
January will be celebrated as Vision Month, with the committee hosting educational town hall meetings on Friday nights at City Hall. Each meeting will include a panel of speakers and will be broadcast live in Laguna Beach on Channel 30.
The meetings planned are: Community and the Politics of Place, Beach City Issues, Community Character: What Are Our Values? and Transportation, Parking and Congestion.
The committee has been gathering residents’ opinions to develop a plan that shows what people think Laguna Beach should look like in the next 30 years. The document is intended to help guide city planners.
