Thanks for Patrick Goldstein’s typically smart, elegant column on the Universal Pictures marketing department’s deft handling of their five straight No. 1 box-office debuts: “Bring It On,” “The Nutty Professor 2,” “The Watcher,” “Meet the Parents” and “The Grinch.”

Just think what they could do with good movies.
