Alemany 70, San Fernando 69--Evan Cline scored 35 points, including a jump shot with three seconds remaining to lift the Indians (1-3) in pool play at the Canyon tournament.
Bell-Jeff 71, Crystal Springs University 26--Casey Markovic had 16 points, Tyler Kealey had 10 points and seven assists, and the Guards won a second-round game at the Half Moon Bay tournament.
Ryan Johnson and Tony Essa combined for 18 rebounds for Bell-Jeff (3-1), which outscored Crystal Springs University, 52-14, in the second and third quarters.
Crescenta Valley 67, Burroughs 47--James Jenkins scored 19 of his 27 points in the second half and Chris Tarne had 17 points for the Falcons (7-0) in a nonleague victory at Crescenta Valley.
L.A. Baptist 51, Nordhoff 49--Andrew Petersen’s layup with 20 seconds left gave the Knights a semifinal victory at the Fillmore tournament.
Petersen scored 15 points and Brian Sanders had 18 points for L.A. Baptist (4-0).
Washington 63, Ventura 52--Trevor Robinson had 22 points and Johnny Davis scored 15 on five three-pointers for the Cougars in a Beverly Hills tournament semifinal loss.
Ventura (4-3), which will play Peninsula at 6 tonight for third place, committed 12 of its 20 turnovers in the second half and was outscored, 19-5, in the third quarter.
Hollywood 71, Birmingham 70--Brandon Sterling’s free throw with 17 seconds to play lifted the Sheiks in a Beverly Hills tournament consolation game.
Nick Halic’s 12-foot shot missed at the buzzer for Birmingham (1-2).
Hollywood (4-4) rallied from a four-point deficit entering the fourth quarter, when Derick Brown scored six of his 24 points.
GIRLS
Agoura 58, Bishop Diego 41--Jennifer Lacy had 18 points, 14 rebounds and six blocked shots, and the Chargers (3-1) reached the championship game of the Nordhoff tournament.
Moorpark 78, Burroughs 70--Natalia Worth had 22 points and Kristin Nadas had 21 points, 12 rebounds and six blocked shots for the Musketeers (3-1) in a consolation victory at the Rio Mesa-San Marcos tournament.
La Reina 47, Louisville 40--Teresa Shuberg scored 16 points for La Reina in a pool-play game in the Nordhoff tournament.
Lindsey Budny added 15 points for the Regents (1-2). Caitlin Stone had 10 points for Louisville.
Simi Valley 35, Canyon 27--Teresa Cooper scored nine of her 11 points in the fourth quarter when the Pioneers (4-0) pulled away from the Cowboys (6-2) in a Valencia tournament semifinal.
Chaminade 75, Oaks Christian 31--Christina Zdenek had 15 points and the Eagles (7-0) won the Campbell Hall tournament.
Viewpoint 48, Oakwood 34--Crystal Dry scored 26 points and had eight steals for Viewpoint (2-1) in a Liberty League opener.
