Community Outreach Meetings

The Los Angeles Unified School District is conducting a series of community meetings to select locations for dozens of schools proposed in its building program.
The plan includes primary centers, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and continuation high schools to accommodate enrollment growth and to end busing from overcrowded schools.
The Times will publish the schedule weekly. This week’s meetings are the last scheduled in December. Meetings will resume in January. This week’s meetings:

Proposed Project: Central Middle School No. 4 and South Central High School No. 2
Day: Thursday
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: John Muir Middle School

Day: Thursday
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: Sharp Avenue Elementary School,
13800 Pierce St., Pacoima
Proposed Project: Gemco/East Valley Area New High School No. 2
