Other economic reports due this week:

* Monday, the Commerce Department will report on wholesale inventories for October. They rose 0.2% in September.
* Wednesday, the Commerce Department will report on retail sales for November. They rose 0.1% in October. Excluding autos, sales rose 0.4% in October.
* Thursday, the Commerce Department will reveal October statistics on inventories at all U.S. businesses, which lump in wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers. They rose 0.1% in September.
* Also Thursday, the Commerce Department is expected to report the third-quarter current-account trade balance, the broadest measure of trade in goods, services and financial transactions. It widened to $106.1 billion during the second quarter.
* Friday, the Federal Reserve will issue its November statistics on the output of U.S. factories, mines and utilities. They showed a 0.1% drop in October. The Fed also will report on December plant-use rate. It rose to 82.1% during November.
