Sola and Beck Lead Fullerton Past Compton

J.J. Sola and Romel Beck each scored 19 points and Kevin Turner had 14 and four steals for host Fullerton, which defeated Compton, 79-71, in men’s basketball Tuesday night.
Fullerton is 8-4.
In other nonconference men’s basketball games:
Los Angeles Harbor 87, Golden West 83--Reggie Borges made two free throws with 12 seconds remaining to break an 83-83 tie for Harbor (4-7). Darnell Graham had 32 points and 14 rebounds for Golden West (0-7).
Orange Coast 87, College of the Desert 84--Nick Burwell scored 22 of his 33 points in the second half for visiting Orange Coast (6-4).
