Glendale Public Library, 222 E. Harvard St., will offer books, conversation and snacks for readers in grades four through eight and their parents, Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the monthly meeting of the Snacktime Readers. This month’s selection is “Frindle” by Andrew Clements. Copies are available in the Children’s Room at the library. The library also offers a family story time for children 4 and older and their parents Saturdays at 2 p.m. This week’s theme: “A Visit with Jesse Bear.” Also, Library Grandparents read stories for children of all ages Monday through Saturday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Free.
