J. Scott Briggs Named Chairman of EVU

J. Scott Briggs has been named chairman of the board of EVU in Laguna Hills. Since leaving Ziff Davis as president in 1997, Briggs has provided senior level counsel to Red Herring Communications and Net Gravity.
* Peter K. Rundle has been elected a partner in the Irvine office of Arter & Hadden LLP. Rundle, who joined the law firm in 1995, is a member of the litigation and trial practice.
* Diane Nance has been promoted to vice president of sourcing at Anaheim apparel retailer Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. Nance, who is responsible for procuring the company’s private label merchandise for PacSun and d.e.m.o. stores, joined the company in 1994 as director of sourcing.
* Dan Ramirez has been named vice president of Good Neighbor Pharmacy, a network of independent pharmacies serviced by Bergen Brunswig Corp. in Orange. He had been vice president of strategic network development at MedImpact HealthCare Systems Inc.
* Dean Bierbower has been selected executive director of the Community Counseling Center of San Juan Capistrano. Bierbower has 25 years of real estate, banking and management experience, including serving as a national partner at Coopers & Lybrand and senior vice president for real estate and international business at Beverly Hills savings. He also formed Gateway Partners, developing large retail projects throughout Southern California.
* Amy Leinen has joined the product liability litigation practice in Snell & Wilmer’s Irvine office. She was formerly in the Phoenix office.
* Jennifer Hendrix has joined InterGame in Costa Mesa as corporate controller. She was previously corporate project coordinator for Red Sky in Irvine. Before that, Hendrix was controller and director of contract administration for Interplay Entertainment in Irvine.
* Les Goldberg has joined Maples Communications Inc. in Irvine as vice president and general manager. Goldberg had been vice president of corporate communications at Uniloc Inc. in Huntington Beach. He was also owner and founder of Les Goldberg Public Relations in Santa Ana.
