Body Found Beside Road Is Identified

Authorities have identified Janice Hide of Victorville as the woman whose body was discovered by the side of a road Thursday afternoon.
Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have no further information--including Hide’s age and cause of death--but are treating the case as a homicide, said Sgt. Richard Myers.
A motorist spotted the body around 4 p.m. near the intersection of 250th Street East and Avenue M-2, just west of the San Bernardino County line.
