Santa Barbara (3-7) had four players finish in double figures. Mike Vukovich contributed 16 points. The Gauchos shot 53%, making 32 of 61 field goals.
Robert Davis led Loyola Marymount with 17 points. Elton Mashack added 16.
San Jose State 51, UC Riverside 50--After scoring only 18 points in the first half, the Highlanders rallied but came up just short in their loss to the Spartans at San Jose.
Trenell Eddings led Riverside (4-8) with 16 points, while Darnell Williams scored 16 to lead San Jose State (8-3).
