New Music Web Site Celebrates Good Life
A lot’s been made about surfing the Internet naked, but you might want to break out that silk smoking jacket to visit https://www.luxuriamusic.com, officially launching on Valentine’s Day. It’s a new venture from the man known as the Millionaire, who with his band, Combustible Edison, helped spur the ‘90s revival of lounge culture.
“What this site is about is 21st century hedonism--the good life brought to you virtually,” says the Millionaire, who’s known to the IRS as Michael Cudahy.
Cudahy and partner Chuck Kelley are overseeing the site’s design. Music will be a major part of it. One feature being built is a studio from which they plan to host weekend party Web casts featuring celebrity guests. Think of it as the old “Playboy After Dark” translated to cyberspace.
