Only four of the seven candidates for the March City Council election will spend money on their campaigns, according to disclosure statements they filed with the city.
Ken Ryan, David Christian, Arthur Gerdes and Keith DeBrucky have filed statements outlining their campaign finances for the period between Jan. 1 and Jan. 22.
DeBrucky did not collect or spend any funds during this time. Gerdes did not seek funds but lent $2,500 of his own money to his campaign. Ryan raised $1,249. Christian received $600 from three Yorba Linda residents in January.
The three other candidates--Ryan Clark, Jim Kapko and Ken Stewart--filed statements that they will not be seeking or spending any money for their campaigns.
